What You'll Learn
- Research 5 target companies and identify the right person to contact at each
- Write and send 5 personalized outreach messages using the 3-sentence framework
- Set up a 30-day LinkedIn visibility plan
- Walk out with 5 outreach messages sent and a system for being found instead of applying
What You Are Building in This Module
By the end of this module you will have:
- 5 target companies researched with the right contact identified
- 5 personalized outreach messages sent
- A 30-day LinkedIn visibility plan
- A complete job search system that works while you sleep
This is the final module. You are not just learning. You are executing. By the time you finish, you will have taken more targeted action than most job seekers take in a month of mass applying.
Step 1: Pick and Research 5 Companies (15 Minutes)
Not 50 companies. Five. Companies where you genuinely want to work, where your skills match, and where you can articulate why you want to be there specifically.
Use the Company Research prompt from your Module 5 prompt library for each one. Then for each company, find the right person to contact.
How to find the right person:
- Search LinkedIn for people with the job title one level above the role you want
- If you want "Senior Data Analyst," find "Director of Analytics" or "Head of Data"
- If you want "Product Manager," find "VP of Product" or "Director of Product"
- Target the hiring manager (the person you would report to), not HR or recruiters
For each company, write down:
- Company name
- The role you are targeting
- The person you will contact (name + title)
- One specific thing about their work you can reference
Use AI to Research Each Company
`
Research [company name] for me. I am interested in a [role title] position there.
Find:
1. What the company does (one sentence)
2. Recent news, product launches, or initiatives from the last 3 months
3. Something specific about their [department/team related to your role] that I could reference in an outreach message
4. Who leads the team I would be joining (search for VP/Director of [relevant department] at [company] on LinkedIn)
5. Any challenges or growth areas where my experience with [your key skill] would be relevant
Give me a 2-sentence "why this company" statement I can use in my outreach.
`
Run this for all 5 companies. Save the outputs.
Step 2: Write and Send 5 Outreach Messages (20 Minutes)
Use the 3-sentence framework for every message:
Sentence 1: Who you are and what you do Sentence 2: Something specific about their work or company that you noticed Sentence 3: A link to your portfolio showing relevant experience
Example: "Hi Sarah, I am a data analyst who built attribution models for e-commerce companies for the last 3 years. I read your team's blog post on multi-touch attribution and the approach to weighting first-click data was really sharp. I built something similar at my current role and documented the process here: [portfolio link]."
That works because it is specific, proves you did research, and links to proof. It does not beg for a job. It starts a conversation.
Use AI to Draft Your Messages
`
I am reaching out to 5 people about job opportunities. For each one, write a LinkedIn connection request message using ONLY the information I provide. Do not add generic compliments or filler.
Person 1:
- Name: [name]
- Title: [their title] at [company]
- Something specific about their work: [from your research]
- My relevant experience: [1 sentence]
- My portfolio URL: [your URL]
[Repeat for persons 2-5]
Rules for each message:
- Exactly 3 sentences
- Sentence 1: Who I am and what I do
- Sentence 2: Reference the specific thing about their work
- Sentence 3: Link to my portfolio with relevant context
- Do NOT start with "I hope this message finds you well"
- Do NOT say "I would love to connect" or "I am reaching out regarding opportunities"
- Sound like a confident professional, not someone begging
After writing all 5, tell me which message is the strongest and which is the weakest. For the weakest, tell me how to fix it.
`
Review each message. Personalize anything that feels generic. Then send all 5 on LinkedIn today. Not tomorrow. Today.
Step 3: Set Up Your 30-Day Visibility Plan (10 Minutes)
Outreach gets you conversations. Visibility gets you discovered. Both matter.
Your 30-day plan:
Week 1-2: Foundation
- Post 2x per week on LinkedIn (use the post prompts from Module 4)
- Comment on 3 posts per day in your industry (add value, not just "Great post!")
- Connect with 5 new people per week at your target companies
Week 3-4: Momentum
- Post 3x per week (you will be more comfortable by now)
- Share a project update or case study from your portfolio
- Follow up with anyone who engaged with your outreach (even if they did not respond to the first message)
What to post:
- Something you learned at work this week
- A tool you tried and your honest review
- A project update with what went well and what did not
- A question about your industry that invites discussion
What not to post:
- "Excited to announce" with no substance
- Motivational quotes
- Anything you would not say out loud to a colleague
Schedule Your First Week
Open your calendar or reminders app right now. Set these:
- Monday: Write and post LinkedIn post #1
- Wednesday: Write and post LinkedIn post #2
- Daily (5 min): Comment on 3 industry posts
- Friday: Connect with 5 new people at target companies
That is 30 minutes per week. It compounds. By week 3, recruiters will start showing up in your profile views.
What You Built Across This Entire Playbook
Six modules. Six deliverables. A complete job search system.
Module 1: A resume that beats AI filters with specific, measurable bullets and a tested ATS score.
Module 2: An authentic voice that stands out in a sea of AI-polished sameness, with a failure story ready for interviews.
Module 3: A live portfolio site with 3 case studies that prove your work, linked directly on your resume.
Module 4: A LinkedIn profile that works as a storefront, with an optimized headline, About section, Featured content, and your first post published.

Module 6: 5 targeted outreach messages sent to real people at real companies, plus a 30-day plan for being discovered.
You are not an applicant waiting in line. You are a product being launched. Your resume is the brochure. Your portfolio is the demo. Your LinkedIn is the storefront. Your outreach is the sales team.
Nobody buys a product with no website, no reviews, and a description that sounds like every competitor. The same is true for hiring.
Build the product. Market the product. The right company will find you.
